1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the aiassistent.work website and service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service lets you create personal AI characters — with the appearance, personality, interests and conversation style you choose — and have text conversations with them for conversation, entertainment and interactive engagement.
AI characters are computer programs. They are not real people, and their replies are generated automatically.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into these Terms.
4. Your account
- You need an account to create characters and use the Service.
- Provide an email address you have access to and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- break any applicable law or encourage others to do so;
- create content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, explicit or otherwise harmful;
- create or request any content involving minors in an inappropriate way;
- create characters that impersonate real people without their permission or that mislead others;
- use the Service to seek or provide medical, legal, financial or other professional advice in place of a qualified professional;
- try to access other users' accounts or data, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
- use automated means to access the Service, or copy, resell or reverse engineer it, except where the law permits.
6. AI-generated content
Replies from AI characters are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Do not rely on them as facts or as professional advice, and use your own judgement before acting on anything they say.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the messages and character settings you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the right to submit it.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and graphics (excluding Your Content), belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights in it other than the right to use the Service in line with these Terms.
9. Fees
The Service does not currently include any paid features. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will clearly describe them and their prices before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without your explicit agreement.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or where we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you the reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running smoothly but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your breach of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" line above. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in advance by email or through the Service. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
